Misandry levels: high and rising.

Doc katre prescribes practicing bass and playing video games.

Today: Everyone is scheduling meetings to ask me when the Feature will be ready so I have no time to work on the Feature.

Sensei gave me a compliment after practice this morning.

Is this.... Happiness?

Lint rolling ng my son before school: yet another thing I wasn't aware would become part of the job when I became a parent.

School is closed (wtf, NYC?), so I am home with them today.

Work output: probably gonna be low.

Scratch demos that only kinda work: probably gonna be a lot.

After a sickness break, back to the dojo twice in two days. Not sure I can lift my arms over my head today.

Finished morning aikido: I have never come so close to just collapsing on the mat.

On my way to early morning Aikido practice. I get through this by reminding myself that, while I don't want to be up this early to go exercise, once it's done I will enjoy the results.

Today is not actually my new year, but why miss an excuse to make and eat dumplings?

It is nice to work in an office where I can say "dumpling emergency!" as I leave early, and my colleagues not only are very understanding, they are also suggesting where I should go to buy new bamboo steamers.

Conveniently, the office has a pretty nice music practice room, so I was able to get in last-minute practice before tonight's gig.

Now I will commence rocking and mumbling to myself as I panic, thanks.

Also, when I left the dojo, my sweaty hair froze solid. Hoping it doesn't break, although I am overdue for a haircut.

I feel like I deserve extra credit for leaving the house at 6am, in 5 degree (Fahrenheit) weather, to go to the dojo.

Only three other students made it, we usually have 8 to 10.

Today looks like it'll be no coding, only document creation. Maybe I'll take my laptop and see if the fireplace on the 11th floor is lit.

:blobcatpeek: hello again

BOOKS & BONE is a librarians-and-necromancy fantasy with small town charm in a city of the dead.

It is currently up for funding on #kickstarter as I can't afford to publish it on my own. If you're able, I'd really appreciate your help!

It's a story about frantic research, the boundaries of magic, and the love of home, however strange.

It's mildly spooky and very warm. I hope you'll like it!

Went and got nicely beat up doing this morning, now to try and write code all day.

I am just happy I made it into the office before the snow started falling. It's ind of nice to sit inside with a cup of coffee and watch it fall.

Last band practice before Friday's gig! It's kid of scaryexciting.

On the off chance anyone here is in NYC and wants to see live amateur music, several bands from my music school are performing Friday, starting at 7, at Rockwood Music Hall.

Sickess: present.
Wife: more sick.
Kids: just fine.
Homemade ramen: boiling.
Collapse: about an hour and a half.
